Simplest Notions is a creative haven for those who enjoy ideas and projects on a limited budget.

My name is Julie and I am a single working mother of two.  While that lifestyle keeps me plenty busy, I also have an insatiable need to find new uses for old or discarded things, preserve photos and family heirlooms, make scrumptious low-cost meals, and decorate with unique and pretty things.  If I found myself independently wealthy tomorrow, I don't believe it would stop me from finding that next great deal or generating simple and practical ideas.
